  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

That pisses me off. I've seen that kind of shit over and over. Most of those people are just pissed off at life and looking to take it our on anyone they can.

Did you see there they picked up another house vote to pass the health care reform?

Don't fret. It's all just symbolic now. With a meaningless mandate, this legislation will never work.

My state (Mo.) has joined 33 other states in taking steps to block the federal mandate. Yesterday our House passed a plan to add a state constitutional amendment protecting individuals and businesses from the mandate. And medical providers would not be penalized for accepting direct payment for healthcare. Our senate will vote on it next!

I am looking forward to the vote in DC. It will give us a record of who voted for possibly the worst piece of legislation ever written. The excuses we'll hear during the fall campaigning will be priceless.

Are you suggesting that any legislation passed in DC is legally binding to all citizens of the country? Please tell me that is so.

I didn't write the Supremacy Clause.

    I like it, though. :)

No it won't bladway. Not in the House at least. Once the CBO weighs in Speaker Pelosi is going to tie it to other legislation and if they approve the procedure it is "deemed" to be a vote in favor. That kicks it back to the Senate without house members actually voting on it.

Once in the Senate they will use reconciliation to pass the package with a simple majority. I figure it will be on President Obama's desk before the end of the month.

We are talking about two different things, Stumbler. i think....

Many states are now passing laws and constitutional admendments that will take the teeth out of the federal mandate. This will force the supreme court to make an easy decision on whether the federal govt can force us to buy health insurance.

ARGGGHHH! I actually heard it referred to as "Demon Pass" on the news today... WTF is wrong with these people.

There's still going to be a vote for the House Amendments to the Senate bill. The rule acknowledges that in voting for the Amendments, the bill should be considered passed.

It's completely fair, too! If they hold two votes: One for the Senate bill and one for the House Amendments, every Democrat is going to go home this fall and face commercials saying they voted for the "Cornhusker Kickback" or the "Louisiana Purchase". And these accusations will be true. However, they also voted for the Amendments to cancel those immediately thereafter.

It's completely unfair to expect the Democrats to defend a vote that they immediately cancelled with the next vote. But all it'll do is muddle the elections this fall and be patently untrue. But the media loves the blood in the water!

Nuance doesn't work with the peanut gallery. This is how Kerry got into the "I voted against it before I voted for it" confusion. It's not a flip-flop: This is how the Congress works!

    Try McCulloch v Maryland.

Fucking teabaggers keep fucking talking and they have no fucking idea HOW the government works.

And I think the Supreme Court will side with the feds. But that's a long ways off and I could be wrong. If you're going to court though you better get going, while there's still a conservative majority.

Ok never mind this petty shit. How's your bracket going? Let me compare it to my wife's. She's got money on it.

It's going alright. I have my erasor out now, trying to peg some upsets. I am in five pools. I've never "won" but have finished in the money pretty often. Your wife has as good a chance as anyone to win! Last year, our "office hottie", a young lass from mexico city, won the office pool using some... aztec technique involving colors and dates and some other stuff;) I suggest y'all get in as many $5 pools as you can.

Alright fuck all you guys. If the Aztec paid off I'm going to scientifically consult my spirit stones. And then submit my bracket at the Tin Foil Hat Society meeting. We have two ways to win. One is who wins the US Open thing and the other is predicting who'll win the Heisman Trophy.

Well this should please tenguy and other conservatives. President Obama just announced the Congressional Budget Office says we can:

    - Cut the deficit by $130 billion in the first 10 years (2010-2019) and by $1.2 trillion in the second 10 years.

    - Will reduce the annual growth in Medicare expenditures by 1.4 percent per year and will extend the solvency of Medicare for nine years.

    as well as:

    - Expand access to health insurance for 32 million Americans who do not already have it, meaning 95 percent of Americans will be able to buy it;

    *not_secure_link*www.politicsdaily....-health-care-will-cut-deficit-vote-likely-on/

The proposed health care reform legislation will be posted for 72 hours and we can expect Health Care Reform to pass the House of Representatives perhaps as early as Sunday.

I feel the sun beginning to shine on America once again.:)

BULLSHIT.............If you study it real close, you will find that there is about an extra $ TRILLION of SPENDING that they did not add in, they swung those amounts around to something else, but it is spending all the same within the same bill.

I'm not around for a couple of days and you start on the liberal PROPAGANDA again, this is far from passing.

This is the best thing that could of happened to this country, electing a lying socialist as Barrack Hussien Obama to the presidency, he has single handedly woke a sleeping giant, 'the people'. He has brought conservatism in a larger number than ever expected, he has also made the people of this nation start to pay attention to politics as like never before, he has also destroyed his socialistic policies and presidency all in a matter of 14 short months....................THIS MAN IS MY TRUE HERO.........HEHEHEHEHE:excited::excited::excited::excited::excited::excited:

Well, its a lose-lose situation for the Democrats either way. First they failed to deliver on Obama's promised deadline, then they put some half assed bill. Then rather than scrap it, they tacked on a bunch of amendments that just pissed more people off, and the only way to keep them was to basically bribe several states worth of congresscritters into getting passed. Now they still have to pass the damned thing (Because they kept swearing they would. What the fuck does it take to get these people to realize they are making a mistake and admit it?) and the only way they can do it is either vote for it straight, which means they have to take the blame for voting for the bribes, or they can use this little shenanigan to force the bill through which means they get accused of cheating the American people!

And here we've been told that Democrats are so much smarter/better than their Republican opponents. Could have fooled me, they're all a bunch of dumbasses!
